When Shane Long launched his first brew-pub concept in Cork [circa 1700 BC - old bastard], there were just seven microbreweries existing in the Republic of Ireland. These Original 7 banded together to create a supportive community that stayed with him down the years. He launched Original 7 a few years ago, a beer brand that honours those first pioneers. Wearing our Source Material hat, we were asked to help develop future expressions, concepts and identities. We hope to see these realised very soon.
